MANU KŌRERO REFLECTION

1. Which part of my manu kōrero did I think went well and why?

2. Which part of my manu kōrero did I think needed to improve on and why?

3. Using the scale from 1 to 5, (1 manawa taki and 5 manawa toa) here are my ratings for each part of my manu kōrero and my reasons for that rating...

Tauparapara: ka tangi te titi ka tangi te kaka ka tangi hoki ahau i give my self a 4 because i was loud enough for people to hear me!

Mihimihi: Nga mihi ki a rangi nui e tu nei ko papatuanuku e takato nei tena korua. I rate my self a 4\6 because i new my mihi off by heart!

Pepeha: i rate my self a 3\6 because i was a bit fast!

Whakataki (intro): ka korero au e pa ana ki nga raukura o tenei whanau ko te whanau ruru. I rate my self a 2\half because i got nerves.

Kaupapa: I rate my self a 3 because i had to look at my paper a few times

Whakakapi (conclusion): i rate my self a 2 beacuse i was a bit fast.

4. What advice would you give to yourself when you stand for manu kōrero next time? Did you stand strong? Was your kōrero loud enough for all to hear?

CLAY

                                              CLAY

#1 I used koru design to show people in my whanau . i also used stars to show my pass away and this was import to me to show them.

#2 first we learned about how to use clay.we learned how to shape the clay. i learned that the clay has to be cut with a wire it needs to be 1.5 cm's thickness otherwise the clay will crack and break. we had a play with the clay so that we could get a feeling of how to use clay.

#3-pictures

#4 - i would do more designs and make my designs more abstract.

!!VISIT'S!!

                                      !! POWHIRI!!

On Monday morning we got  visit's from America&Canada to tell us about there trip here and about the maori language was close to being gone and spoken!!. But years have gone past and times have changed and the lore has changed so now we can encourage our teina and others to keep our language alive.After they all had a talk our visits went and got a cup of tea/coffee and a snack. when they came back we were doing haka waiata mahi-a-ringa and just waiata. then they sang a waiata. then it was time for them to go {the end}
